Thanks so much for all your help with our holiday, it was the best ever, what made it so special was the motorhome, we done what we wanted, stopped where we wanted and were not tied to the one place, your motorhome was just the ticket, spacious and so well equipped, it was far more than we expected, we all loved it so much. The information in the books you made up was so helpfull it made finding places so easy, i will definitly recomend you to all my friends and we will be back.

We are all getting back to normal, and we are counting our blessings that it is not this week we are away - that rain is something else!

As promised, here are our recommendations on sites and things to do:

Nairn/ Forres/ Inverness

Don't go to the Findhorn Bay Site - the toilets are disgusting and were not cleaned the whole time we were there. Findhorn Sands looked gorgeous but they said that they didn't take bookings and when we turned up it was full With hindisight, maybe if I had offered to pay in advance they would have accepted a booking.

Findhorn beach and village are lovely, with a nice pub.

"The Loft" was recommended to us, but we found it to be below average and expensive for the quality and so would not go back.

Cawdor Castle is a must - beautiful inside and out, and the tea room was fantastic, really good quality freshly made food and cakes to die for! Definitely deserves its 5-star rating.

Culloden was good and the guided tour a must.

Best sites in the area are Culloden (a Caravan Club site) and Findhorn Sands. We stayed at Daviot, which is handy for Inverness. It was of better standard than Findhorn Bay but not brilliant. The owners were friendly and the pitches nice, but the toilets and showers although clean left a lot to be desired.

Fort William

We stayed at Bunree (a caravan club site) and it couldn't be faulted. Toilets and showers cleaned daily (as you would expect, but not evident in the other 2 sites), gorgeious views over Loch Linnhe and a small play park for kids. The wardens were extremely friendly and helpful.

The Loch Leven Seafood Cafe was fantastic - fresh seafood and amazing desserts - not too bad price-wise either. You would have to book - people were being turned away on a Tuesday night!!

Don't go to the Indian Garden on Fort William high street - it is a tourist trap. The food was awful, we were packed in like sardines and ripped off - £6.85 for 4 poppadoms!!!! Avoid at all costs. The Craggon Seafood place looked nice, but since the kids don't like seafood I had to please them that night!

We took the wee ferry across on our bikes but there wasn't much to do or see. Maybe the cruise up Loch Linhe to the seals would have been better.

The Glencoe visitor centre was really good and again, the food was top notch, all very clean etc. as were the toilets
